 ABBAWORLD, the Official Interactive Exhibition approved and supported by ABBA, opens at Melbourne’s Federation Square on Saturday 19 June at 10am.
Infused with state-of-the-art technology, the highly interactive experience will take visitors on a mind-blowing journey through ABBAWORLD’S 25 environments, displayed over 3 levels, at Federation Square.
Apart from displaying exclusive footage, stage costumes, images and memorabilia from the personal collections of the world’s most cherished pop icons; Agnetha, Benny, Björn and Frida, ABBAWORLD is also an extraordinary multimedia exhibition that enables visitors to experience the music and magic of ABBA in a completely new and distinctive way.
Some interactive highlight, created especially for the ABBAWORLD exhibition, include:
• PERFORM WITH ABBA, get on stage and perform with life-size animated ABBA members in a 3D holographic illusion
• DANCE THE VIDEO, dance in an ABBA video, as a single artist or a video mix with your friends
• THE TRETOW MIX CHALLANGE - try to mix an ABBA hit and see if you can match the ABBA sound by Michale B Tretow, ABBA’s sound engineer
• YOU & ABBA, photograph yourself onto an ABBA album or poster
• DANCING QUEEN, dance the steps and check your score from the dance floor
• ABBA GOLD SING-A-LONG, sing along to your favorite ABBA hit, record your golden performance and see if you can hold an ABBA tune as well as the original band members
• ABBA QUIZ, compete with your friends in your knowledge of all things ABBA - choose between, rookie, fan or, if you’re game, fanatic level!
